2024 SLVA CAR STICKER REMINDERS

Dear Residents, Please be advised that the 2024-2025 car stickers are valid until July 31, 2023 only. In the interest of security, orderliness, and fairness to the majority of the Village Residents/Lot Owners who are in compliance with the Association’s rules on stickers, effective August 1, 2023 the Association will be STRICTLY implementing the below rules and regulations:

Only vehicles with the 2024-2025 SLVA stickers will be allowed to use “Resident’s or the ‘With Sticker' Lanes” of the Village gates at San Lorenzo Drive and Amorsolo/Pasay Road. Further, only the same class of “stickered” vehicles will be allowed access through the “Residents and Stickered Cars Only” gates on Ponce/Pasay Road, Edades/Pasay Road, Sabio/Pasong Tamo and Amorsolo/Edsa (when opened).

All other vehicles will have to use the “Visitor's Lanes” at the San Lorenzo Drive and Amorsolo/Pasay Road gates.

Vehicles parked on the streets overnight must have a 2024-2025 SLVA green sticker affixed to its windshield. All vehicles parked overnight along the streets of the village that have an expired SLVA sticker or which do not have a sticker or is parked well-away from the residence to which the SLVA sticker affixed to the vehicle is associated with, will be “tire-locked.” This includes also all inoperative and/or unregistered vehicles “stored” on the Village streets.

A fine or penalty amounting to Php 1,000.00 per incident and an additional Php 500.00 each night thereafter will be charged to all vehicles that will be tire locked or clamped. All inoperative and/or unregistered vehicles “stored” on the Village streets will have a penalty of P 5,000.00 per incident and an additional Php 500.00 each succeeding day.

A car is considered parked “overnight” when it is parked in the same location continuously from 12:00 A.M. to 5:00 A.M. Further, please be reminded that vehicles SHOULD be parked near the residence to which the SLVA sticker affixed to the vehicle is associated with.

Please be informed that the SLVA Administration Office will start the process of issuing vehicle stickers for the year 2024-2025. Below are the schedules, qualifications, requirements and cost of the sickers for your reference.

You may get vehicle sticker application forms from the SLVA Administration Office starting June 3, 2024 and apply according to the following schedule to avoid any inconvenience:

Effective June 30, 2024 vehicles without 2023 stickers will only be allowed entry/exit at San Lorenzo Drive and Amorsolo-Amaiz Gates where a gate pass must be obtained. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS.

The 2023 Stickers will only be issued to Lot Owners/Residents with no outstanding accounts such as, but not limited to, Association Dues, Traffic Violations, Deed Restrictions Violations, Construction Violations and Penalties/Interest.

Only the Lot Owner has the SOLE AUTHORITY to endorse/sign the Application Form. Assignment of allocated stickers is at the discretion of the lotowner.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

As part of updating our records, kindly submit the following as requirement for 2023 car stickers. We know that there had been sales and changes in ownership of properties inside the village so we need your understanding and need your cooperation on this matter.

Copy of Transfer Certificate of Title as proof of ownership
If title has not yet been transferred, a certified true copy of the duly notarized Deed of Absolute Sale in lieu of the title
SLVA signature card accomplished by the registered owner (form available at the SLVA Ne Office)
For corporation owned or co-ownership, a secretary’s certificate for the duly authorize representative
For lessee or lease extension, provide copy of Contract of Lease and affidavit by the lessee.
Acknowledgement Receipt of Traffic Rules & Fines (upon claiming the sticker)

ALL vehicles:

Duly accomplished 2023 STICKER APPLICATION FORM signed by lot owner or Authorized representative
LTO updated Official Receipt (OR) and Certificate of registration (GR) ~ Xerox only
Letter of assignee & valid ID of registered car owner
Company owned vehicles: Company certificate stating the authorized assignee of the vehicle

Newly purchased vehicles:

Delivery Receipt/Vehicle Sales Invoice or Notarized Deed of Sale
Vehicles under bank financing — bank certification to the effect
Submit LTO documents upon availability.

NOTE: FOR LOT OWNERS, PLEASE GET YOUR SIGNATURE CARD FROM THE SLVA OFFICE BEFORE APPLYING FOR 2023 SLVA CAR STICKER

We also wish to remind all lot owners and residents of the procedure regarding the acquisition of the stickers.

In the event that the registered car was sold, the existing SLVA sticker should be surrendered to the association office. To ensure that all vehicles with SLVA stickers are authorized by the office,(in case the car was sold) No replacement shall be accommodated without surrendering the previous sticker applied.
In case of loss, please present a notarized Affidavit of loss explaining the circumstances surrounding the incident.
CARS NEED TO BE BROUGHT TO THE VILLAGE PARK FOR THE STICKER TO BE AFFIXED TO YOUR VEHICLES BY SLVA SECURITY GUARDS AND OLD STICKERS SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM YOUR VEHICLES.

Residents cars in excess of eight (8) will be charged P5,500.00 and ENTITLED ONLY TO YELLOW STICKERS
Resident is entitled up to ten (10) stickers for their guests at P5,500/sticker with YELLOW STICKERS
Cars with guest stickers (Yellow) can only park in front of the resident's house who sponsored the stickers.

Dear Residents and Homeowners

As part of the flood mitigation projects of the Government, the Department of Public Works and Highways and the City of Makati, in coordination with Barangay San Lorenzo (BSL) and San Lorenzo Village Association Inc. (SLVA) will be installing a booster pump with automatic trash screen at the Makati Diversion Channel (Amorsole Creek). The project aims to help mitigate flooding in Makati City especially along Amorsolo Street. The project will be constructed after the Don Bosco Bridge between San Lorenzo Village and Ecology Village 3. The proposed facility is powered mainly by electricity with a backup genset used during emergencies.

The construction will start on July 15, 2024 and has a total construction period of 300 calendar days. We would like to request all residents/homeowners to bear with the inconvenience of noise, dust and additional foot/vehicular traffic that will come along with the construction of the said project. Rest assured that the project will strictly abide with the SLVA Buiiding Rules and Regulations and other rules imposed by SLVA and BSL in relation to the project.

Please be informed that 30 October 2023, Monday is a Special Non-Working Holiday for the observance of the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections. In line with this, SLVA Administration Office will be closed to allow the SLVA employees to exercise their Right to Vote.

Below is the Village gate schedule and some important information for this upcoming Election Day:

Pedestrian gates at the Amorsolo/Arnaiz Ave,, Edades (Half Open only) and Makati Avenue gates will be open to voters who are not residents of San Lorenzo Village from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The pedestrian gate at Ponce/Arnaiz Ave. and Sabio will remain open but for the use of residents or holders of valid SLV L.D.s only.
Non-Resident Voters entering the said gates will be required to sign-in and present a valid ID with our guards on-duty at these gates for verification.
Amorsolo/Mantrade gate will be closed.
Barangay San Lorenzo (BSL), through the kind assistance of Punong Barangay Ernesto “Ernie” A. Moya will provide free shuttle assistance to ferry voters (residents and non-residents) from waiting/loading areas located on Amorsolo St. near the corner with Juan Luna St. and Edades St. corner Juan Luna St. to the San Lorenzo Village Plaza (the, “SLV Plaza") where the polling precincts are located. A aiting/loading area will also be located at the parking lot of the SLV Plaza, where the BSL Service Vehicles will drop-off and load passengers.
The BSL Shuttle Service will generally run a circular route - westward from Amorsolo/Juan Luna waiting/loading area to Joaquin St. where they will turn left to head towards San Lorenzo Drive/SLV Plaza. From San Lorenzo Drive/SLV Plaza, the BSL Service Vehicle will then head eastwards towards the Makati Avenue gate, turn left on Juan Luna St. to head towards the Edades/Juan Luna waiting/loading area and then to the Amorsolo/Juan Luna waiting/loading area.
Voters with cars who are not residents of San Lorenzo Village can only enter and exit from the Amorsolo/Pasay Road and Makati Avenue gates only, using existing protocols for vehicle entry/exit. The SLV Security Guards and the BSL Tanods have been instructed to strictly implement traffic rules and regulations, particularly with regard to parking.
Designated parking slots at the SLV Plaza will be reserved for the use of Senior Citizens and Persons with Disabilities only.
Since some of the slots at the parking lot of the SLV Plaza will be used by Official Government, Police and Emergency Vehicles, and as a waiting/loading area for the BSL Service Vehicles, the Security, Safaty and Traffic commitee requests the kind of indulgence, patience and cooperation of our Village residents with regard to parking. Parking will be allowed in designated areas of San Lorenzo Drive and adjacent streets. Please be mindful to park your car properly and only in areas not designated as “red” or “no-parking” zones.
Due to the increase in foot trafic in and around the SLV Park and the Village which are access points into and out of village, the Security, Safaty and Traffic Committee kindly requests village residents who are driving to be mindful of the their driving speed and to give priority to pedestrians (and the BSL Service Vehicle) in these areas.

Last, some helpful reminders:

Familiarize yourself with the candidates for election to office, make a list and then check it twice so you can save time and accomplishing the ballot will be much easier.
Be early and beat the long lines and the heat.

San Lorenzo Village is classified as Low-Density Residential Zone (R-1) under the new Makati City Zoning Ordinance No. 2022-A-165 which took effect on January 2023. During the event, outbound vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from using the San Lorenzo Drive/Makati Avenue Gate (Gate 2) to exit the Village. Residents may use Ponce, Edades and Amorsolo/Pasay Road Gates, while guests may use the Amorsolo/Pasay Road Gate to exit the Village during the event to avoid any inconvenience.

SLVA Parking Reminders

At San Lorenzo Village, it is a fact that we have too many vehicles parked on the streets. Again, we ask residents to use their vacant driveways and carports to park their vehicles whenever possible, and remind all that SLVA roads cannot be used as the primary area of parking by residents and lot owners.

We also remind SLVA’s standing rules that streets should not be used to park inoperative vehicles AND/OR do major repairs or commercial vehicles, in each case even with a SLVA sticker. Parked vehicles (golf cart, jet ski, e-trike and rescue boat) and blocking the neighbor's driveway or gate is subject to clamping or immediate towing at the vehicle owner's expense.

Only vehicles with “GREEN” car stickers will be allowed to parked on the streets overnight. If you have guest car with no SLVA Car Sticker that will be staying for the night or two, have your guest park on your carport or driveway.
